Tawana currently serves as the Executive Director of Medical Services for the Detroit market for Trinity Health. Her work includes over-site of Mercy Primary Care Center, St. Frances Cabrini Clinic both in Detroit, and S.A.Y Family Health Clinic in Highland Park, MI. Additionally, she is Detroit's Community Benefit lead for Trinity Health Michigan.
Ms. Nettles-Robinson has held numerous positions prior to her current appointments, including, Director, Health Equity & Population Health Management for the Greater Detroit Area Health Council, Community Benefits Administrator for St. Joseph Health System and Quality Improvement Manager for Chrysler LLC. Compassionate about serving her community, Tawana moved from manufacturing to healthcare administration in 2010. Since then, she has managed several multi-million-dollar contracts and grants related to improving health equity and consumer engagement, overseen numerous efficiency initiatives and expanded community partnerships.
Ms. Nettles-Robinson serves on several board related to improving access and eliminating inequities in care including: Michigan Primary Care Consortium, Common Ground, Detroit Infant Mortality Task Force, Michigan Cancer Consortium, and is the Vice President, of the local chapter of Oakland County Learning Achievement Coalition Ms. Nettles-Robinson holds a Bachelor's degree in Management, Wayne State University and a Masters of Health Administration, and Masters of Business Administration from Central Michigan University. Tawana is currently, a candidate for fellowship with the American College of Healthcare Executives.
